Our freshly caught clams are shipped to our processing centre as a live catch within 24hours. When these delicate molluscs leave our hub to be delivered to your home, we blast freeze them briefly (0 to 4 degrees C) to ensure food safety. As a result of this, the shells will not be open. This is to provide excellent taste and freshness.
Clam meat has a slightly sweet, oceanic flavor. The clams are good sources of protein, and also provide minerals such as iron, zinc, selenium, and vitmain B12.
A 500g serving of meat will be sufficent to feed 4 adults as part of meal.
